Natalie Bulger

Natalie Bulger is the Director -- VHA Risk Management where she has oversight over VHA Enterprise Risk Management functions as well as risk and issue management oversight for the Office of Integrity and Compliance (OIC) and serves as the lead for the GAO/OIG Accountability Liaison Team. Before taking on her current role, she served at the Risk Manager for OIC and as the VISN 4 Integrity and Compliance Officer, Ethics Point of Contact and FOIA Officer. Prior to joining the VA, Natalie held the position of the Director of Compliance, Risk and Regulatory and other various compliance and risk positions at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh for seven years and started her career as a Research Assistant for the University of Pittsburgh. She holds a Masters degree in Health Administration and a Bachelors in Social Work both from the University of Pittsburgh. Natalie is Certified in Healthcare Compliance, a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and has completed the Chief Risk Officer executive program at George Mason University. She resides in Indiana, PA with her husband and fosters animals for a local rescue and hikes when time allows.
