Elena Yearly has been at the helm of her professional services firm that she founded in Virginia since 2013. Elena has worked diligently to help organizations and individuals ‘stay out of trouble’ through her proactive risk identification services. She is considered a Risk Management Subject Matter Professional, Consultant, Coach, International Speaker, Trainer and Facilitator. She is known for advising public and private sector entities in establishing and/or enhancing their ERM end-to-end programs, and the integration of risk management with strategic planning and internal controls. She is a Big Four alum and her expertise also extends into process improvement, auditing, and compliance. Prior to tapping into her entrepreneurial side, Elena worked in the private sector in senior leadership roles domestically and overseas for over two decades. She is currently serving as the AFERM Board Treasurer. She is an active member of the International Coaching Federation as she uses her coaching certification skills to support entities in one-on-one sessions and group coaching to arrive at tailored ERM tailored solutions meeting clients where they are with their ERM efforts. Elena has a Master’s in Business Administration from Colorado State University. Elena recently launched and is co-hosting a podcast titled ‘Adventures in Risk Management’.
