Dr. Karen Hardy

Dr. Karen Hardy is the CEO and chief risk officer of Strategic Leadership Advisors LLC. She is a founding member of AFERM and received the ERM Hall of Fame Award. Dr. Hardy is an IBM Visiting Fellow and Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA). As an adjunct faculty of the GMU School of Business CRO Executive Program, she directs executives in exploring the impacts of ERM in both the public and private sectors. Dr. Hardy is an Emmy Award Winning Documentary producer, a best-selling author, and the founder of the award-winning Flip This Risk® Podcast and book series. She has appeared on National Public Radio, WTOP News Radio, and Comcast TV as an expert on risk management practices.
