Paul Quimby
Office of the Secretary Department of the Interior
Paul Quimby joined the Department of the Interior (DOI) in September of 2020 as a program analyst. He leads and facilitates the DOI Project and Program Management Community of Practice while also championing the DOI Program Management Improvement Officer role and responsibilities. Prior to DOI, Paul led project and program teams in a wide variety of organizations that include the Marine Corps and several defense contractors and consulting companies. As a consultant, Paul worked with project, program, and portfolio managers to drive their use of data and analytics tools to make better decisions on program and portfolio strategies. Paul is a retired Marine Corps helicopter (UH-1N) pilot, and in that occupation, he used data analytics and risk management strategies every day to make sure the number of his landings equaled the number of his takeoffs.
