Takiylia Middleton

Architect of the Capitol (AOC)
Takiylia Middleton is a senior financial analyst in the Architect of the Capitol's (AOC) Integrated Risk Management Division (IRMD) within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). Her primary responsibilities include Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Internal Controls and Risk Data Analytics. In her role as ERM lead, she brings her expertise and leadership to help facilitate the continuous agency-wide process of identifying, evaluating, prioritizing and assessing risks, as well as overseeing the completion and effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies. Prior to joining the AOC in 2019, Takiylia had over 14 years of private and public sector experience concentrated in enterprise risk management, financial management, internal review, audit readiness and process improvement. Specializations include the areas of enterprise risk assessments, financial data review and analysis, internal control review, financial statement consolidation, process documentation, account reconciliations and audit.

Takiylia has a master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, a bachelor's degree in Accounting and is a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM). Additionally, she is a member of AGA and the Association for Federal Enterprise Risk Management (AFERM).
